It's hard to believe that 2014 is almost over and what a year! For me personally it's been creative, insightful and productive. I have at times felt frustrated that I wasn't always able to get the things done that I wanted to do. However, after having my Studio sale/exhibition at Stirrup Gallery Marrickville I realised how creative I've been in the last twelve months. More paintings and drawings than I realised and of course my book "Presence". My week at Marrickville was a wonderful opportunity to connect with many creative people and lovers of art. When you have your paintings stacked up in the studio you often don't appreciate what you've actually accomplished. It felt very satisfying to see the work hung and to experience the reaction of everyone that came in. Thank you to all the wonderful people that supported me throughout the year especially my family, Rob from Glance Graphic Design who designed my book and invitations & especially those friends that I couldn't live without. So wishing you a wonderful New Year filled with the joy of living life in your own unique way. May you find pleasure in the simple things and beauty at every turn.
