I have spent my life pursuing creative expression as a singer, songwriter and visual artist. This is a process that is continuously evolving. When I paint I try to create works that are both beautiful and engaging.

I love building up the layers of paint to create a surface that holds the viewers eye. I also love spontaneous marks that convey feeling and atmosphere. Some of my work is high energy and vivid, other work is moody and more subtle. I love mystery in art and try not to overstate.

As I love words I have also used quite a lot of text in my work, quotations, song lyrics and philosophy have been combined with calligraphic style writing.

I have had 2 successful solo shows one in 2005 the other in 2006. I have been selected to exhibit in many group shows including the Doubly Gifted in Waverly, Sydney

My work is held in public & private collections in Australia and around the world. In 2006 I was commissioned to paint a three panel work of 7.2 metres for Prince of Wales Private Hospital, Randwick, Sydney.This happy painting was especially created for the children's ward entrance.

I am in constant demand for commissioned large scale abstract works. I love the challenge of creating a work that is in harmony with it's owners and environment. An important aspect of my paintings is to create a work that is not only lovely to look at but has positive energy. I do believe that beauty is beneficial to the well being of those who live with art.
